How We Teach

A Different Approach to Learning About Money

Most budgeting courses throw spreadsheets at you and hope something sticks. We don't do that. Our method came from watching hundreds of people struggle—not because they weren't smart, but because traditional teaching just doesn't work for money management.

Instead, we focus on building habits through realistic scenarios. You'll work with your actual income and expenses from day one. No hypotheticals, no perfect examples that don't exist in real life.

  • Start With What You Have

Week one is about understanding where your money actually goes. Not where it should go—where it really goes. Most participants are surprised by what they find.

  • Build Systems That Work

We help you create a budgeting system that fits your life, not someone else's ideal version. If you hate tracking receipts, we'll find another way.

  • Stay Accountable

Small group check-ins keep you on track without feeling like homework. Share what's working, troubleshoot what isn't, and adjust as you go.

What Twelve Weeks Looks Like

Our program runs from September through November 2025. Each phase builds on the last, so you're never overwhelmed but always moving forward.

01

Foundation Phase

Weeks 1-4 focus on understanding your current financial situation. You'll map out income streams, categorize expenses, and identify patterns you might not have noticed before.

02

Building Phase

Weeks 5-8 are where you create your personalized budgeting system. We'll test different approaches, adjust for your lifestyle, and set up tools that make daily tracking easier.

03

Refinement Phase

Weeks 9-12 help you fine-tune everything. Handle unexpected expenses, plan for irregular income, and develop strategies for staying consistent when life gets messy.
